Thursday Evening Book Study, March 7th

Categories: Uncategorized

Continuing on Thursday, March 7th in the Guild Room at 7 p.m. following ToGather, Pastor Jessica facilitates a discussion of Grateful:  The Transformative Power of Giving Thanks by Diana Butler Bass. This Thursday, we will be discussing Chapter 8: Circles of Gratitude in Part IV: Ethics–Community and Politics.

The study will run weekly through Thursday, March 14th (at 7:00 p.m. each Thursday, except for the 14th, which will start at 7:30 p.m).  All are welcome. If you missed prior sessions, you are still welcome.

In Grateful, Christian historian  and leader in progressive Christianity writing Butler Bass expertly weaves together social science research, spiritual wisdom, and contemporary issues as she encourages and makes a persuasive argument for a deeper understanding and practice of gratitude, a powerful practice of thankful living that is meaning-filled and transformational.

Books can be purchased through Amazon for $16. If you have questions or an interested in learning more, please email Pastor Jessica.
