One for One Hundred Campaign Spotlights (1) the Capital Campaign Oversight Task Force, (2) the 100th Anniversary Task Force and (3) The Communications Committee/Streaming Team

Categories: General News,Get Involved

Recently, the Session created one new Committee and two new task forces. The Communications Committee was once a task force working under the Membership Committee, but it now operates autonomously, exercising oversight of our website, social media, and streaming team. It also has oversight of our weekly email and banner ministry. This committee is already an integral part of our ongoing ministry and mission at Northminster and we need both folks who are interested in the strategic and practical aspects of our communications systems to serve on the committee, and folks who are interested in technology and worship to serve on our Streaming Team.

The two new task forces’ work will take place over the next year (100th Anniversary Task Force) and the next 3 years (Capital Campaign Oversight Task Force). The 100th Anniversary Task Force will plan educational events, worship opportunities, and celebrations that mark our 100th Anniversary as a congregation and help set the vision for our next century.

The Capital Campaign Oversight Task Force will work with the Stewardship committee and our Financial Secretary to confirm multi-year pledges, participate in follow up conversations with donors, invite new members into participation in the campaign, and assist the Session and Building and Grounds Committee with planning and prioritizing the projects of the campaign.

Pastor Michael is the staff liaison for both task forces and the Communications Committee. Please reach out to him with questions or to express your interest in serving on one of these newer teams.
