Paul Vander Weele Concert of Chichester Psalms, November 11th in Glencoe

Chichester Psalms, a pivotal work by Leonard Bernstein, will be presented in concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 11th, at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, in Glencoe.  Northminster’s talented organist, Paul Vander Weele, will accompany the Kol Zimrah Community Choir. Cantor  Pavel Roytman, will direct.  Concert is free and open to the public.


We all enjoy this special time of year: our chance to reflect on our bounty! This year let’s go one better:  CHANGE HUNGER and give other families a reason to be thankful!

Volunteers Needed for 28th Family Promise Hosting Week, November 25th to December 2nd

Northminster will host three or four guest families the week of November 25th through December 2nd.  We will need about 60 volunteers to cover overnight hosting, meals, activities, and room set-up/tear-down. ToGather, November 8th

The Fellowship Committee will be hosting ToGather on Thursday, November 8th. The menu is pulled chicken sandwiches, baked beans, corn bread, salads and desserts. Please join us in Logan Hall at 6:15 p.m. for good food and great fellowship. Cost is only $5 per person.


The change left over from the treats you buy for your neighborhood trick-or-treaters will buy part of a meal for a hungry family. Please put your change in the offering plate on Sunday so those without many treats in their lives can eat.

All Youth Outing: North Branch Restoration Project, November 3rd
