Soup Makers Needed for Maundy Thursday Soup Supper

Categories: Events,Featured,Fellowship,What's Coming

All are welcome on Maundy Thursday, April 18th, to attend Northminster’s annual homemade soup supper hosted by the Fellowship Committee followed by worship in Logan Hall.

We start serving at 6:15 p.m. and invite you to bring the whole family. We still need a number of soup makers! If you are willing to share a crock pot/Hotpot/soup pot full of soup or chili with your Northminster friends, please contact Amy Mendelson.

The service which follows this hearty meal and fellowship time, is centered on the events of Jesus’ last meal with the disciples before his arrest and crucifixion.

At that meal, according to scripture, Jesus both washed the disciple’s feet and instituted the Lord’s Supper. We will mark both of these events in the service, with a washing of one another’s hands and communion by intinction.

Please invite your family and friends to join us for this evening of fellowship and meaningful worship!
