Pastors Michael and Jessica have been presenting “Strange Times and Dangerous Times: The Book of Revelation for Today,” as the Late Summer Sermon Series Sundays since the beginning of August. The series continues through September 1.
The Book of Revelation is perhaps the most misunderstood, and, according to Pastor Michael, one of the most misinterpreted books in all of the Bible. Written in a time of great upheaval, it uses visions and extensive metaphor to invite its original readers to look at the growing conflict between the Roman Empire and the followers of Jesus in a new and hopeful way.
How might this apocalyptic literature invite us to look at the current world situation differently?
Join us for these two remaining Sundays as we explore this final book of the Bible in a completely new way. The sermon title for the 25th is “War? What is it Good For?”
It certainly won’t be boring!
