By Thich Nhat Hanh
Tuesday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m. via Zoom
Beginning on October 12 Thru November 30
All are invited to join Pastor Jessica for an engaging discussion of Thich Nhat Hanh’s captivating book Living Buddha, Living Christ.
In this thin volume Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh explores the crossroads of compassion and holiness at which Buddhist and Christian traditions meet, and he reawakens our understanding of both.
Hanh says, “On the altar in my hermitage are images of Buddha and Jesus, and I touch both of them as my spiritual ancestors.”
The book’s message is both simple and profound:
“Peace, love, and compassion are central to the teachings of Buddha and Christ, and people of both faiths should be tolerant of one another.” —The Washington Post
Please contact Pastor Jessica if you have questions, are interested in attending, or would like her to order a book for you for pick up at church.
