Adult Education: “Living the Word,” “Living Our Faith” and “Living the Questions”

Categories: Adult Education

As part of an ongoing commitment to be “Growing in Faith, Rooted in Love,” Northminster has launched three different kinds of Adult Education courses on Sundays:

This Sunday, after Fellowship Time at 11:10 a.m. in the Guild Room, Pastor Michael leads “Living the Word,”  our new weekly Narrative Lectionary Bible study.

“Living Our Faith” will bring speakers on social justice and faith topics and least once a month. On Sunday, October 28th, a representative of the Community Renewal Society will be at Northminster to share with us about efforts at Bail Bond Reform in Chicago and Cook County.

For those who cannot stay after worship for Adult Education time, we have an online discussion group, “Living the Questions.” We are using the Nooma Video series and other videos for twice-monthy online discussions. Our second video, “Name,” is now live. Email Pastor Michael to get access to the lively discussion series. We’ve already discussed the parental image of God and the comforting idea that we are “yoked” with Jesus in life and service. Join us to find out what’s next!
