4th and 5th Grade Prayer Workshop

Categories: Spire Blog

Northminster’s 4th and 5th graders participated in a Prayer
Workshop last Saturday evening (February 11th) and enjoyed pizza and a lively discussion about what it means to pray, how prayer can be an important part of our lives, different ways to stay focused during prayer and even how to pray using meditation.

The kids learned how to use the prayer labyrinth, walking it twice because it was so fun! They also used the book Praying in Color to start a prayer journal. The workshop was lead by Director of Children’s Ministries Meredith Rogowski and Sunday School teachers Nan Snowden and Elizabeth Hopp-Peters.
