TUXIS Senior High Kids

On Sundays, students in grades 9 through 12 meet in the Sr. High Room at 11 a.m. for the Challenge Class, where the youth build community through sharing of joys and concerns and engaging in discussions on what it takes to live a truly “good life.”

In addition to the weekly meeting on Sunday mornings, TUXIS gathers several times a year for lock-ins and an annual winter retreat to Washington Island, WI.

The Senior High program’s annual mission trip is with the Appalachian Service Project (ASP). This group of nearly 90 youth and adult leaders prepares for the trip with several team-building sessions and fundraising efforts.

With the support of NPC and other donors, these volunteers are able to grow in faith through the direct action of improving the homes of those living in the poverty stricken region of Central Appalachia.

For more information, email Youth Director Nick Ralston or teacher Al Williams.
