Categories: Events,Youth

The new Sunday School program year has begun! And there are new plans for Northminster’s Junior High students. Following is the announcement from Autum Lum, Interim Youth Sunday School Coordinator:

Junior High Sunday School – On Sunday mornings, grades 6 through 8 will begin in worship at 9:30 a.m. Youth are welcome to sit with their families or in the balcony with their friends. Following “A Time with The Children” (junior high youth may come forward if they choose), we will meet in the Junior High Room (lower level next to the stairs leading from the sanctuary). Together we’ll enjoy awesome games, yummy snacks and great conversation!

Sunday Morning Dismissal – All youth in the Junior High Sunday School program will be dismissed at 11 a.m. Parent pick-up is not required, but parents may request that their child stay with the teachers until a designated adult releases them if they wish. Youth are not permitted to pick-up younger siblings from their Sunday school classes in place of an adult.

Holey Sunday – Beginning October 7th – New this year! The first Sunday of every month, all youth grades 6th-12th will meet in the sanctuary balcony for worship … and to eat donut holes!! Holey Sundays will also include a fun “Word of the Day” challenge. Join us in the balcony on October 7th to learn more!
