Categories: Events,Mission

The North Shore CROP Hunger Walk is October 15th and it’s not too late to donate. Just go to this link.

If you are a walker who has donations from sponsors, please see Scott Kellogg at the CROP Walk table during Fellowship Time this Sunday, October 15th. Scott will be accepting filled envelopes from walkers. Northminster is responsible for all the envelopes, whether or not any money has been collected. All money received should be totaled and you should make out a check for the full amount. The check, made out to CWS/CROP, should be in the envelope and all envelopes MUST be turned in to Scott at Northminster this Sunday. If any money was collected online, it should be indicated on the envelope and shown as part of the Grand Total on the back of the envelope.

This year’s Walk begins and ends at First Congregational Church, 1445 Hinman Avenue in Evanston. Registration is at 1:30 p.m. and the walk starts at 2 p.m. Beneficiaries include Interfaith Action, Family Promise, St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen, Second Baptist Soup Kitchen, Soup at Six (Hemenway), and the Church World Service.
