Northminster Players, the community theater of Northminster Presbyterian Church, is a non-profit theater troupe with a professional approach to production.
This year, Players celebrates 40 years of drama, melodrama, comedy, mystery, musicals and revues. Some founding members—Bill and Ann Whitney, who has been a Jeff Nominee, and longstanding members Bob Harris and Gary Grenholm—still play key roles in keeping Players on the boards.
Today, Players Advisory Board includes Artistic Director Margaret Scott, President Gordon Zerkel, Immediate Past President Terry Meland, Treasurer Barb Brady, Legal Counsel and Co-Treasurer Terri Mascherin, Secretary Liz Holding, Publicist Andy Wheeler, Dorothy Gregory, and Kelly Brest van Kempen.
Northminster Players’ venues have served as a practice ground for the experienced and as a learning ground for new talent. Northminster Players—including church members and non-members alike—has an established record as a quality organization, critically acclaimed performances, and the strong support of the community for decades.
