This past Sunday, March 5th, we read Jesus’ Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). We talked about the costs and the dangers that are sometimes involved when we choose to help those in need. And we closed our time debating overpopulation. (It kind of made sense if you were there.) This coming Sunday, March 12th, we are looking at Jesus’ words from Luke 13, and think together about what sin is really all about.
This past Sunday, March 5th, we shared joys and concerns, talked about our Lenten plans, and had a little discussion on codes. We considered the different kinds of codes we encounter — some that we speak in, and some that we live by (or at least try to). And we talked about some of the codes we find in scripture, like the 10 commandments, and Jesus’ greatest commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).
