Fourth Lenten Service, March 15th

The Worship, Music & the Arts Committee has scheduled Lenten services for five Thursday evenings during Lent after ToGather. The theme is “No Greater Love” and services will be held in the Guild Room at 7 p.m.  The culmination will be the Maundy Thursday service on March 29th.

ToGather, March 15th

The Christian Education Committee is hosting ToGather on Thursday evening, March 15th, with a sumptuous potato bar. Please join us in Logan Hall at 6:15 p.m. for a delicious dinner and friendly fellowship.

CHANGE HUNGER

Many of our brothers and sisters live with the daily reality of physical hunger. We can CHANGE HUNGER by sharing our coins every Sunday.

Youth Bells Play during Worship Service, March 11th

Northminster’s Youth Bell Choir will be playing the introit, “Theme from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony,” during the worship service this Sunday, March 11th. Parents should bring their bell ringers to the balcony at 8:50 a.m. to practice with Youth Music Director Kate Lee.

Volunteer for Friday Lunches, March 9th

Every second Friday, Northminster buys, prepares, and serves a bag lunch to those who are homeless, needy, or just need a meal.  Volunteers are invited to join us at the Church House (1417 Hinman ) this Friday.  (Diane Rosewall’s daughter, Ann, is the pastor at the Congregational Church.)  We begin making sandwiches at the Church House…
