Library Dedication, April 29th

Categories: Events,What's Coming

During the worship service on April 29th, we will dedicate Northminster’s refurbished Library and give thanks to those who worked so diligently to bring new life to this beautiful room. After months of work, the Library Task Force, Heidi Niggli, Cindy Clark and Kathi Gregoline, have finished setting up, categorizing and cataloging all the books in the adult section, including many new books among the old. Thanks too to Facilities Manager Davit Hovakimyan who was of great help to the group. Until the “grand opening” on the 29th, the adult section will remain closed.

The children’s section has been open for some time, thanks to the efforts of Family and Children’s Ministries Director Meredith Rogowski and the Christian Education Committee. Already several Sunday School classes have had their lessons in the new space and many parents and kids have been checking out books to enjoy at home.

After the worship service and Fellowship Time on April 29th, and any time the church is open, everyone is invited to visit the library to just browse or to check out books for children and adults alike.
