Membership

Deacons
Deacons, whose primary purpose is to minister to those who are in need, are chosen by the congregation.
Elders
Also chosen by the congregation, elders, together with ministers of the Word and Sacrament, exercise leadership, government, and discipline for the church.
Committees
Chaired by an elder, each committee serves a specific purpose that is vital to the life and operations of Northminster.
Mission Outreach
Mission is an important and active part of life at Northminster. We try to find and offer ways that our own congregation members can actively engage in hands-on mission activity.
Christian Education
There is an opportunity for all Northminster members to match their gifts from God to ministry through teaching in Christian Education.
Choirs
Music is a vital part of the Northminster worship service, uplifting and sustaining us from week to week. Members and friends participate in various ensembles to enhance worship throughout the year.
Youth Programs
Middle and high school students can find plenty to do at Northminster, including special mission and field trips.
