ASP Team-Building Meeting #1, February 11th

Northminster’s 2018 ASP (Appalachian Service Project) mission trip is already coming together!  All participants should come to the first team-building meeting on Sunday, February 11th from 3 to 5 p.m. beginning in the sanctuary. Help with Second Friday Lunches, February 9th

Every second Friday, Northminster buys, prepares, and serves a bag lunch to those who are homeless, needy, or just need a meal at the Church House at the Congregational Church (1417 Hinman ).  (Diane Rosewall’s daughter, Ann, is the pastor at the Congregational Church.)  We start at the Church House at 10:30 a.m. to make sandwiches…

Hunger cuts across many demographic groups. For instance, almost 5 million older Americans periodically don’t’ know where their next meal will come from. Contribute your loose change to Change Hunger and make a difference. Proceeds go to local hunger initiatives.
