Make Cranes at Home for World Communion Sunday

Northminster folks have an opportunity make peace cranes for a new, church-wide, liturgical art project.  The plan is to hang more  more than 1,000 origami cranes in the sanctuary for World Communion Sunday, October 1st. It’s the Sunday when the Peacemaking and World Missions Special offering is traditionally collected and it’s a Sunday when we…

You get a nifty reminder in your email two days before your appointed Sunday(s). To sign up, just click this link on the News and Events…

We are looking for people who are willing to be part of the visioning and planning that comes with committee membership and the less time-consuming, task-oriented work of serving…

Some of the washrooms now have motion-activated light switches.  About 50% of this project has been underwritten through the ComEd…

The Deacons are once again leading our congregation in the Backpack Project through which 30 local students receive a backpack filled with the required school supplies they could not…

Kitchen Project Starts Friday, June 30th

On June 30th, the old pizza ovens and range are scheduled to be removed from the kitchen. Electrical and plumbing work will then be done along the southwall. Our new appliances should be installed by the end of July. During July, the kitchen will be available but there will be no way to cook.  Questions?…

Did you know, according to the City of Evanston, it’s illegal to park in front of a curb cut and you can get a ticket?  A request was made at the recent Session meeting that we remind people not to park across the curb cut at the elevator entrance to the building. Please leave this…
